Clearly explain terms to ensure an informed purchasing decision. Build rapport and trust with customers through transparent communication, professionalism, and a consultative sales approach. Structure and secure financing approvals through lender partnerships. Process finance and lease transactions accurately and efficiently. Support a dealership process that ensures 100% turnover to the Finance Department. Handle lender and rate quotations. Maintain strict compliance to all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing automotive finance transactions as well as Company policies, including accurate and complete documentation of all contracts. Partner closely with sales associates and leadership to ensure seamless deal flow, effective communication, and achievement of dealership sales objectives. What We're Looking For - Qualifications & Experience 2-3 years of prior automotive Finance & Insurance experience strongly preferred. High-performing automotive sales professionals are encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of automotive financing, leasing, and aftermarket products. In-depth knowledge of applicable federal & state regulations governing the F&I department in automotive (including but not limited to: Truth in Lending, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OFAC compliance, and FTC Safeguards). Commitment to ethical sales practices, accurate contract processing, and full compliance with dealership policies and legal requirements. Strong ability to analyze credit applications, interpret lender requirements, and structure deals that align with both customer needs and dealership objectives. Exceptional customer service and written/verbal professional communication skills. Experience with dealer management systems (DMS), desking tools, and F&I software platforms (e.g., Dealertrack), along with general proficiency in Microsoft Office.
