Anesthesiology Physician

The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a Physician Anesthesiologist to join their Anesthesiology Care Line. The Anesthesiologist will provide a complete range of anesthetic care of patients including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic administration and monitoring, and post-anesthesia care, in compliance with national (JCAHO) accreditation standards. The Anesthesiologist will perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare the anesthesia plan, deliver all forms of anesthesia, and provide intra- and post-operative care to patients. As part of "Code Blue" Team, provide emergency airway and resuscitation management throughout the facility and establish an effective working relationship with all levels of staff throughout the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.
