CPA – Agricultural Operations

Location: Minto, ND

Pay: $100,000+ per year (DOE)

We’re partnering with a growing, forward-thinking agricultural operation seeking a CPA to step into a high-impact financial leadership role .

This is more than accounting—you’ll work directly with ownership to shape financial strategy, optimize tax planning, and drive profitability across large-scale farming operations .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations: reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Develop and execute advanced agricultural tax strategies (income averaging, depreciation, etc.)
• Analyze profitability by crop and operation to guide decision-making
• Partner with leadership on equipment investments, expansion, and succession planning
• Manage lender relationships and financial reporting

What You Bring

• CPA required
• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or complex operational accounting
• Strong tax strategy and financial planning background

Travel Involved

• Occasional travel to farm locations, meetings, or lender visits
• Periodic as needed for financial or operational planning

Experience Required

• CPA licensed with prior experience in agricultural accounting or similar complex operations
• Experience with tax planning, compliance, and financial reporting
• Leadership-level experience managing financial operations
