OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Wausau, WI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide for HMD Trucking as a solo OTR CDL-A dry van driver out of Wausau, WI. You'll run consistent long-haul lanes hauling dry van freight while working with a driver-focused team that emphasizes safety and dependable freight.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate assigned tractor-trailer on interstate OTR routes and deliver freight on schedule.
• Complete accurate logs, pre/post-trip inspections, and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch, report equipment or cargo issues, and protect freight integrity.

Qualifications & Compensation:

• Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
• Pay starts at 65 CPM with weekly averages around 2,500 miles; bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.
• Late-model trucks (under 3 years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, in-house maintenance support, home every two weeks, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
