Permit TechnicianThis is sub-professional and technical permitting work in reviewing construction plans and permit applications, and issuing residential and commercial development permits.Jurisdictions - Hiring Salary RangeMobile County - $48,091 - $60,060City of Mobile - $40,528 - $50,604City of Saraland - $44,658 - $57,156Minimum Qualification Requirements: Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, preferably supplemented by college, trade or vocational school coursework in engineering, drafting, architecture or related field, and a minimum of three years of experience reading and interpreting construction, engineering, building or related plans; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
