Import Coordinator

Import Coordinator Location: Norcross, GA (On-Site) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Pay: Starting at $21+/hour, based on experience We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Coordinator to join our growing logistics team. This role is responsible for coordinating import shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, supporting customs clearance processes, and providing excellent customer service throughout the import lifecycle. Responsibilities Coordinate import shipments and communicate with customers regarding shipment status Process and review import documentation for accuracy and compliance Enter shipment and customs-related data into internal and government systems Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues Coordinate trucking and drayage services with vendors Review and process vendor invoices for payment Generate customer invoices Arrange required terminal and port-related payments Maintain organized shipment files and records Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company requirements Qualifications Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, transportation, or supply chain operations preferred Knowledge of import procedures and U.S. Customs processes is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency with computer systems and data entry Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines High school diploma required; additional education or relevant experience preferred What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
