Job Title

RN - Medical Surgical (Charge)

Location

Quinter, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting within a small rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Serve in a Charge RN capacity, overseeing unit operations during the night shift
• Utilize the CPSI-Evident EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
• Apply emergency room clinical skills as needed to support patient care needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license or multistate (Compact) license required at time of submission
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
• Previous Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Previous Emergency Room (ER) experience required
• Previous Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with CPSI-Evident EMR system preferred
