Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting during day shift hours
• Support and manage post-operative open-heart recovery patients
• Operate and monitor mechanical circulatory support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Adhere to department guidelines including weekend and holiday rotation and float requirements
• Complete all required learning modules and maintain compliance with facility standards prior to and throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency
• Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with direct open-heart recovery, Impella, and balloon pump management
• Familiarity with CVICU skills checklist requirements completed within the last 12 months
