Maintenance Supervisor

The Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Maintenance Supervisor position at the County's General Aviation airports, Henderson Executive Airport and/or North Las Vegas Airport. This position plans, supervises, directs, reviews, and evaluates the work of semi-skilled, skilled, and support staff in the construction, modification, maintenance, and repair of DOA buildings, facilities, roadways, airfield infrastructure, and equipment, including airfield maintenance in a General Aviation environment. This position is responsible for coordinating daily work activities, assigning and prioritizing tasks, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with established standards, safety practices, and applicable regulations, including conducting and supporting FAA-compliant airfield inspections. The incumbent provides technical guidance and training to staff, participates in hiring and progressive disciplinary processes, and assists in developing and implementing procedures and work standards. Additional responsibilities include overseeing contract and warranty work, conducting inspections to ensure quality and compliance, responding to maintenance issues and emergencies, and coordinating with other departments and agencies. Further, this position prepares and tracks work orders, estimates labor and material needs, and maintains accurate records. The incumbent exercises a high degree of independent judgment while promoting a safe work environment and supporting efficient airport operations. This recruitment may be used to fill positions at Henderson Executive Airport, located at 3500 Executive Terminal Drive, Henderson, NV 89052 and/or North Las Vegas Airport, located at 2730 Airport Drive, North Las Vegas, NV 89032.
