Senior Pricing Analyst

You'll combine analytics, financial modeling, and market insights to develop pricing strategies that give Batteries Plus a competitive edge. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end pricing initiatives, from analysis and recommendation through implementation and performance evaluation. Analyze price elasticity, demand patterns, and cost structures to optimize pricing across products, services, channels, and geographic markets. Develop pricing strategies and recommendations that balance company objectives with franchisee profitability and local market conditions. Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer behavior to inform short‑and long‑term pricing strategy. Design and execute pricing tests and pilot programs, interpreting results to refine pricing, promotions, and discount structures. Build and maintain competitive intelligence dashboards to track pricing gaps, assortment positioning, and market performance. Utilize statistical modeling, automation tools, and AI‑powered analytics to accelerate analysis and uncover actionable insights. Partner cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Sales, E‑Commerce, and Franchise Operations teams to align pricing strategies. Conduct advanced analytics projects connecting pricing insights to assortment performance, category trends, and external demand signals. Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership, supporting adoption through clear documentation and communication. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a comparable analytical role. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, pricing analytics, Google Sheets, and Excel. Experience working with Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools preferred. Experience leveraging generative AI and LLM tools for analysis, automation, or workflow optimization. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred. Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, and cost structures. Experience with retail or merchandising analytics concepts, such as assortment performance or category analysis, preferred. Proven ability to manage complex analytical projects and translate data into actionable business recommendations. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
