Admissions and Recruitment Assistant

Division of Academic Affairs — Administrative Support Assistant I Part-Time Position - 20 Hours Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for a range of administrative and office support for students, staff, and other scheduled activities for CSU Channel Islands International Programs. Serves as support for recruitment and admissions/records based on needs of the department. Assists with outreach to students and updating systems (PeopleSoft, Web Admit, Airtable) with accurate data Provides current and accurate information to international students and verifies official documents Relays timely and accurate information to the Assistant Director of International Programs as necessary Provides excellent customer service to prospective students and current international students as well as instructors and staff Provides support to programs and staff as directed Makes phone calls and emails to support international programs Performs other duties as assigned Requirements of Position Equivalent to a high school diploma or one year of experience in an office setting High degree of initiative and responsibility Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills Ability to understand standard office procedures in an office setting Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn new office technologies Ability to prioritize workload and work independently, with flexibility for evolving responsibilities Compensation Hiring Salary: $1,911 per month (based on 20 hours per week). #J-18808-Ljbffr California State University - Channel Islands
