Type: Remote

Project: Migration of VPN connections into client data centers for a network integration initiative involving over 1400 remote sites.

Ideal Background: Mid-level network engineer with Cisco IPSEC VPN experience and excellent communication skills.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with building IPSEC site-to-site VPN tunnels using Cisco CLI, configuration and troubleshooting of IPSEC site-to-site VPNs.

Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, negotiation skills, coordination and troubleshooting abilities.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in relevant field.

Primary Responsibilities: Configuration and troubleshooting of IPSEC site-to-site VPNs, authoring technical documentation, monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving network issues, working closely with clients and vendors, ensuring security and operational standards, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications: CCNA or higher certification, experience with Cisco routers and switches, Arista switch management, Palo Alto firewalls, documentation skills, proficiency in a scripting language like Python, and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Work Schedule: Flexible with ability to make after-hours changes.
