Responsibilities As a Home Services Inspector , you’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and how to make strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, you’ll be able to solve problems and build trusted relationships, ensuring homes and families are protected. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads—leveraging a robust advertising budget that provides you with leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home. Make recommendations based on inspections and identified issues, addressing questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations. Qualifications What do you need to be successful? No experience required—you’ll receive training. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company‑paid). Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers. Qualifying applicants will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable state and local laws. What will your work environment be like? Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE); may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Work in varied weather conditions.
