Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-Down setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 18 months of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a long-term acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting
• ACLS certification
