Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Ultrasound Technologist for a Days shift travel assignment requiring ARRT or ARDMS registration and BLS certification. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent required 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred Basic computer experience required BLS certification via AHA required Requires one of the following: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, or OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS Additional preferred certifications include Vascular Sonography (VS), Breast Sonography (BS/BR), Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS, or RVT State licensure required if applicable Responsibilities Imaging Ultrasound department performing routine and advanced ultrasound imaging procedures 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Weekend and on-call requirements apply Floating to other campuses or locations may be required Uses PACS system for image storage and archiving Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures while supporting other imaging technologists to ensure efficient patient flow Set up, move, and operate medical ultrasound equipment as part of daily duties Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and participate in QA and image processing/archiving resolution Act as a PACS Superuser, following downtime procedures and escalating issues to PACS administrators as needed Participate in ongoing education and maintain imaging competencies as outlined by management Adhere to organizational core values, professionalism, and confidentiality standards Returning CHRISTUS employees must be separated for at least 6 months before starting a new travel assignment Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
