What You’ll Bring: Proven expertise in outpatient hematology and oncology care Strong clinical skills in managing a diverse patient population Experience participating in tumor board discussions and multidisciplinary team collaboration Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner Ability to work independently with a team of dedicated support staff including RNs, medical assistants, social workers, dietitians, and nurse navigators Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle clinic call duties as needed Additional Skills That Boost Your Profile: Prior experience in outpatient infusion centers Comfort with procedures such as CBCs and other hematology/oncology interventions Participation in quality improvement initiatives or tumor board activities Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology Previous locum or outpatient oncology experience is highly desirable Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a similar setting Other Requirements: Start date: January 19, 2026, through July 31, 2026 Availability to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Willingness to participate in clinic call coverage Must possess or be eligible for Michigan medical licensure and board certification Valid DEA registration and malpractice insurance required Travel and lodging arrangements are reimbursed per policy, with specifics provided at onboarding Embrace this opportunity to enhance your professional journey while making a meaningful impact on patient lives.
