At GFS, our people are at the center of everything we do. We’re looking for an HR Specialist who enjoys building relationships, finding great talent, and creating opportunities for employees to learn, develop, and succeed.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who wants to do more than just recruiting. You’ll spend approximately 50% of your time leading recruitment efforts and 50% supporting talent development initiatives and HR projects, giving you exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources and the opportunity to make an impact across the organization.

 

What Success Looks Like

• Own full-cycle recruiting for primarily manufacturing and operational positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and find candidates who are a strong fit for both the role and GFS.
• Source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for hire.
• Coordinate the hiring process from application through onboarding.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Develop relationships with schools, technical colleges, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and look for ways to continuously improve our hiring process and candidate experience.
• Support employee development, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
• Assist with performance management and talent review processes.
• Create training materials, presentations, guides, and employee communications.
• Help coordinate training and development programs.
• Track participation and provide reporting and administrative support.
• Partner with HR leadership on projects that support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Look for opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience.

Qualifications That Shine 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable partnering with employees, candidates, hiring managers, and leaders across the organization.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• A genuine interest in helping people find the right opportunities and grow within an organization.

Transparent Rewards At GFS, we recognize the dedication behind every role and ensure that our compensation reflects both your impact and our shared success.

Pay Range: $54,000 – $69,000 per year, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications.

Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role.

Benefits: Eligible for standard company benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and other employee programs. More detailed information is available at 2026 GFS Benefits. 

Actual compensation will be determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, skill level, and market conditions. For remote or hybrid positions, the listed pay range applies to applicants in the specified location.
