What You'll Do:
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing various health conditions
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns to foster comfort and confidence
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety
- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes or medications within scope of practice
- Conduct quality assurance and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure
- Document procedures, results, and maintain logs in compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist other radiology areas as needed and perform routine maintenance on equipment
What You Need:
Required:- Valid license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Strong patient communication skills
- Ability to operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Experience in diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging
