Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to exact recipe standards while maintaining a sanitized and organized station. [1, 2, 3]

Key Responsibilities

• Station Setup : Stock workstations with necessary food items and supplies before each shift.
• Meal Preparation : Execute various cooking methods including grilling, frying, and sautéing to ensure quality and timing.
• Quality Control : Monitor product freshness and strictly follow recipe instructions to maintain consistency.
• Sanitation : Comply with food health and safety standards by sanitizing surfaces and completing food storage logs.
• Collaboration : Assist other cooks and communicate effectively with the Chef during busy service periods. 

Required Qualifications

• Experience : Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or professional kitchen.
• Skills : Advanced knife handling and a strong understanding of various cooking techniques.
• Certification : ServSafe Food Handler certification is highly preferred.
• Physical Demands : Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs in high-heat conditions.
• Availability : Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
