Job Description
Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift; Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Flexibility for any 8 hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide outpatient care. The ideal candidate will work independently with a focus on pediatric patients. Previous experience in a pediatric setting is required, and candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality therapy and support for the pediatric population in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions and progress assessments for pediatric patients.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation of patient care and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience is required.
• Active California Physical Therapy License is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must have no pending state licenses at the time of submission.
