Position Summary Senior Consultant – AI Governance – Enterprise Operations & Risk Our Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team helps client leaders translate multifaceted risk and an evolving regulatory environment into defensible actions that strengthen, protect, and transform their organizations. Work you'll do As a Senior Consultant, AI Governance on the Enterprise Operations & Risk team, you will be responsible for: Supporting delivery of Trustworthy AI risk workstreams, including generative AI, agent model validation, and AI regulatory sensing, for Deloitte member firms and external clients in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications industryAdvising client and internal stakeholders on AI risk management, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including escalating complex matters when appropriateDeveloping and implementing AI governance frameworks, controls, and operating procedures that address fairness, transparency, privacy, and regulatory compliance across the AI lifecycleCoordinating engagement activities, including workplans, stakeholder communications, issue tracking, quality review, and day-to-day execution across cross-functional teamsContributing to market activation through proposals, client materials, industry insights, and knowledge sharing across Trustworthy AI, corporate compliance, and business ethics offerings A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The team Our Enterprise Operations & Risk offering enables clients to achieve profitable growth and competitive advantage by optimizing “heart of the business” operations. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Information Systems, Finance, Business Management, or Public Policy4+ years of experience in regulatory risk, compliance, AI governance, model risk, or advisory servicesExperience developing or implementing AI governance frameworks, controls, or regulatory compliance processesExperience supporting operational compliance, regulatory management, or compliance program transformation initiativesExperience coordinating workstreams across cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Experience with Trustworthy AI, AI governance, model validation, or AI regulatory risk managementExperience serving clients in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications industryExperience supporting proposals, account planning, or revenue growth activitiesExperience with compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, risk management, case management, or data management systemsExperience with process design, workflow development, user acceptance testing, data mapping, data migration, or analyticsExperience translating regulatory or risk requirements into user stories or product requirements The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,700 to $218,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
