Manufacturing Project Engineer (Product Lifecycle Management) City of Industry, CA | $97,000–$110,000 | Full-Time Lead Products from Concept to Production Are you an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer who thrives on bringing new products to life? We're seeking a technical leader to manage customer-driven manufacturing programs through the entire product lifecycle— from concept and design through production launch and ongoing support. This is NOT a Construction Project Manager or IT Project Manager position. We're looking for an engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience, strong product lifecycle management skills, and the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to successfully launch innovative products. This opportunity supports products serving the medical, industrial, electronics, and advanced manufacturing markets. What You'll Do Lead cross-functional manufacturing projects from concept through production. Manage project timelines, budgets, milestones, and customer expectations. Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales teams. Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and successful product launches. Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN), prototypes, validation, and production readiness. Review technical drawings, specifications, manufacturing documentation, and customer requirements. Identify project risks and implement solutions to keep programs on schedule. Serve as the primary technical contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Project Engineering experience. Minimum 5 years managing products through the complete Product Lifecycle (PLM). Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production environments. Experience working with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and engineering documentation. Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously. Preferred Background Experience in one or more of the following industries: Electronics Manufacturing Industrial Manufacturing Plastics Medical Devices Aerospace Consumer Products Experience with ERP systems and project management software is highly desirable.
