SSM Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Community Description: About SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital: *SLUCare Physician Group, the academic medical practice of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is seeking a PRN Critical Care Physician to provide supplemental coverage within our Critical Care Medicine program.* This flexible opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking part-time or additional clinical work, with preference given to candidates interested in overnight coverage and those with Sleep Medicine training or experience. The physician will provide high-quality critical care services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team while supporting the academic mission of Saint Louis University. *Responsibilities* * Provide inpatient critical care coverage in adult intensive care units on an as-needed basis * Support overnight and weekend coverage needs * Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients * Collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and consulting services * Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination * Support teaching and supervision of residents and fellows when applicable * Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation *Preferred Qualifications* * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine * Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians encouraged to apply * Sleep Medicine fellowship training or board certification preferred * Interest in night coverage and flexible scheduling * Eligible for Missouri medical licensure and DEA registration SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a LEVEL 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital in Stroke, Trauma and STEMI, is at the forefront of ground-breaking medical treatments, procedures, clinical trials and comprehensive patient care.
