Regional Property Project Manager (Town of Florida)

Role Overview

Regional Project Manager is responsible for delivering capital projects and supporting the full facilities lifecycle across a portfolio in the USCa Region (United States and Canada, East Coast), including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and facilities management oversight. This role ensures all school infrastructure is safe, compliant, and aligned with educational and operational needs, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Capital Project Management & Construction Delivery
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects, from feasibility through handover and operational readiness.
  • Develop and manage a regional pipeline of construction and remodelling projects aligned with strategic and educational objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and capex planning to stay within financial frameworks.
  • Coordinate building permits, regulatory approvals, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and risks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to design specifications.
• Stakeholder, Contractor, and Regional Coordination
  • Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with site safety procedures, security protocols, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with school leadership teams to align infrastructure with educational delivery needs.
  • Coordinate across multiple jurisdictions in the US and Canada, adapting to different regulatory and operational environments.
• Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Support schools in developing and submitting capital expenditure requests.
  • Contribute to capacity planning, tracking, and reporting of student capacity changes.
  • Develop regional project management standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Prepare regular reports, KPIs, and performance updates on project delivery, design, construction progress, facilities performance, and budget management.
• Compliance & Governance
  • Maintain up‑to‑date construction, operational, and building permits.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and ISP policies across the US and Canada.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all project, financial, and operational information.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding, child protection, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Facilities Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee full lifecycle including strategic planning, master planning, design coordination, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, lifecycle optimisation.
  • Support development of standardized preventive maintenance plans.
  • Ensure assets are safe, compliant, efficient, and sustainable throughout lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in asset performance and lifecycle cost efficiency.

Reporting Lines

• Senior Leadership: Regional Managing Director (RMD) and Regional Head of Property (Direct Report)
• Internal: School Principals, School Facilities Team
• External: Advisors & consultants, construction contractors & maintenance providers, vendors & suppliers, regulatory authorities, landlords, tenants, partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Project Management certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, or similar design tools (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to travel across the region.

• Experience working across North America (US and Canada) or international environments (highly desirable).

Travel

Role will require travel 1 week out of month throughout the year, mainly to South Florida.

Pay Range

We anticipate the salary range to be $120,000–$150,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
