In-Office | Louisville, KY, United States. Per Diem shifts available with possibility of bundled hours during the holiday season. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient conditions. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Assist in achieving departmental performance targets and quality metrics. Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning. Document patient assessments and care activities accurately and timely. Engage in self‑evaluation and seek feedback for personal growth. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit. Manage time efficiently to prioritize patient care and administrative tasks. Experience / Qualifications Current RN license and certification in Telemetry Nursing. Strong ability to monitor and interpret telemetry readings. Experience in a medical‑surgical telemetry unit preferred. Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare teams. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and infection control. Commitment to continuous professional development and training. Proficiency in documenting patient care activities accurately.
