Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy services to residents at a Veterans Home to support their physical and mental well-being. Ensure the delivery of patient-centered, evidence-based care in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess residents functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Implement therapeutic interventions to improve or maintain residents' independence.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and update treatment plans regularly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  
  
• 
  Educate residents and their families on therapy goals and techniques.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all regulatory and facility policies to ensure high-quality care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least one year of relevant clinical experience.
  
  
• 
  Show proficiency in evaluating and treating adult populations.
  
  
• 
  Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
  
• 
  Be available to commit to a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.
