Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian IFull Time, First Shift – Holidays, Weekends, and On-CallResponsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, employees, and the community in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health.Job Duties:Establishes and implements a standardized Nutrition Care Process to identify and treat those patients requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy.Maintains pertinent patient data necessary to recommend, prescribe, or modify therapeutic diets as needed to meet the nutritional needs of the patients.Develops and provides nutrition education/counseling to patients, patient family, and patient caretakers.Requirements:Bachelor's degree from a recognized accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registry eligible (must obtain within 6 months of hire)Licensed Dietitian in the state of Kentucky (must obtain within 3 months of hire or within 3 months of obtaining credentials)Preferred Requirements:One year experience as a Registered Dietitian preferredBenefits:Tuition Assistance reimbursement programPaid Time Off available for use upon hireCompany paid Maternity and Paternity LeaveBereavement Leave (includes pets)Employee Assistance ProgramRetirement plans with company matchIf you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
