Job Description CDL-A DEDICATED DRIVERS – BEDFORD, PA — PREDICTABLE HOME TIME & STABLE FREIGHTWe’re hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for our Dedicated Bedford, PA fleet, offering consistent freight, reliable miles, and a schedule you can count on. If you’re looking for strong pay and structured home time, Smith Transport gives you the stability professional drivers deserve. Choose your home time while hauling high-volume, direct customer freight — no broker loads. With top Peterbilt equipment and a driver-first culture, you’ll experience what it truly means to have it all at Smith Transport.

- Earn $0.55 to $0.65 CPM ( depending on home time schedule )

Choose your home time:
- 3-Day work week
- $1,000 per week Thursday to Saturday
- $950 per week Sunday to Tuesday
- 5 on / 2 days off - $0.65 CPM
- 12 on / 2 days off - $0.65 CPM
- 21 on / 7 days off - $0.65 CPM
- Weekends off - $0.55 CPM

Orientation & Terminal Amenities
- 2.5-day Paid orientation in Roaring Spring, PA
- Travel & lodging paid for and arranged by Smith Transport
- You will have your own private hotel room.
- Your meals are provided while in Orientation
- Oritentation classes are led by experienced CDL-A holders
- Meet your Recruiter, Driver Manager, and leadership team
- Terminals located in PA, VA, NC, GA, TN, & OH
- Terminal Amenities include:
- Free laundry

- Maintenance
- Truck washes
- Driver lounge & kitchen
- Fuel pumps & safe parking
Requirements
- Age 21+
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year recent CDL-A experience
- Safe parking location for truck & trailer when at home OR ability to park at terminal
