Description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our thriving retail team. Responsibilities

• Engage customers with a friendly greeting and provide outstanding customer service, building rapport and understanding their needs.
• Utilize comprehensive product knowledge to effectively recommend and sell merchandise, demonstrating selling techniques to close sales.
• Operate the point of sale system and cash register accurately, handling cash handling and processing transactions efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandising standards are met and the store environment is inviting.
• Assist with stocking merchandise, ensuring shelves are full and products are presented attractively.
• Proactively identify and solve customer issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment, demonstrating leadership potential.
• Adhere to loss prevention procedures to safeguard store assets and minimize shrinkage.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, using both verbal and written English language skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Working knowledge of selling techniques and customer service principles.
• General knowledge of product knowledge and merchandising practices.
• Thorough knowledge of point of sale systems and cash handling procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of English language for effective communication.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, demonstrating adequate lifting ability.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Experience with cash register operations.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or a customer-facing role.
