Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

Active Pharmacy Technician certification as required by the state or employer. Incumbents in Arizona must provide AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire. Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience, including experience with packaging, distribution, non-sterile and sterile compounding. Experience preparing compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition, and chemotherapeutic agents in compliance with USP and standards. Experience with automated dispensing technology management and barcode scanning verification devices. Ability to perform moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform duties requiring standing, walking, bending, reaching, and use of a personal computer. Preferred Qualifications: PTCB certification preferred. Experience training or providing indirect supervision to pharmacy technicians, trainees, or externs. Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment.
