Credential requirements for mate are:
- Merchant Mariner License Mate 200GT or 1600GT (Oceans or Near Coastal)
- Towing Endorsement (Oceans or Near Coastal)
- STCW 95 (Oceans or Near Coastal)
- Radar Observer Unlimited
- FCC Marine Oper Permit
When submitting an application you must include copies of your Merchant Mariner Credential and TWIC card.
