Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Location: Elko, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week and every-other weekend rotation.

Job Description: The position requires an RN focused on delivering quality care in the Behavioral Health Unit. The candidate will work with adult patients facing various mental health disorders, assessing needs and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients in a Behavioral Health setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for mental health needs.
• Maintain patient safety and manage crises effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient Behavioral Health experience.
• RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.
