Qualifications:

• Active credential as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
• Licensure valid for respiratory therapy in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) or hospital environment strongly preferred
• Proven skills in ventilator management, airway care, and emergency response
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Participate in ventilator weaning protocols and advanced airway support
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
• Document care accurately and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with facility standards and regulations
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory care
• Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
