• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10-hour day shifts
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,810 – $1,940
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: Required (details discussed during interview)
• Weekends: No weekends required

Surgical Technologist Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Cardiovascular Surgery / CVOR experience required (Cardiac OR, vascular surgery experience)
• Current CST or ORT certification (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• Proficiency with procedures such as CABG, AAA, Valve Replacement, and TAVR
• Experience with Stryker/GE equipment and Meditech EMR preferred
• Flexible, confident, and a strong team player; able to float to support other campuses as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment and participate in call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in complex cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, AAA repairs, valve replacements, and TAVR
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and adhere to all surgical safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with RNs, CSTs, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support the CVOR team across multiple campuses as needed (float to other sites)
• Participate in call rotation and respond to urgent cardiac cases as required
• Demonstrate adaptability, clinical proficiency, and strong communication in a high-acuity OR setting
