What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside our Physical Therapist to provide engaging, evidence-based care that helps children ages 0–21 build strength, coordination, mobility, and functional skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Provide engaging activities targeting strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, endurance, motor planning, and functional independence.

• Support children in developing gross motor skills and participating in age-appropriate activities.

• Educate and encourage families in carrying over therapeutic activities and home programs.

• Communicate with the supervising PT regarding patient progress, challenges, and changes in performance.

• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and other team members to support coordinated care.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.

• Participate in department meetings, professional development, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant License (or eligible)

Preferred

• Passion for pediatric therapy and family-centered care

• Collaborative mindset and positive attitude

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
