This role executes HR policies and procedures across all HR functional areas. The ideal candidate balances administrative compliance with employee-centric assistance.Major Areas Of AccountabilityEmployee Relations & ComplianceServe as the primary contact for employee inquiries for assigned areas of the company around benefits, policies, complaints, etc.Assist management of assigned areas with all areas of employee management including annual review process, investigations, and performance managementAssure compliance with federal, state and local lawsCoordinate and update employee handbook as neededLeave ManagementPartner with operations teams on all types of employee leave including assuring appropriate paperwork, record-keeping, communication and management training in compliance with all regulationsEmployee BenefitsManage company benefit programs as the primary contact with all employee benefit providersServe as the subject matter expert on benefit administration, policies and guidance to employees and the companyLead the annual benefit open enrollment logisticsExplain benefit programs to new employees as neededRequirements For PositionA bachelor's degree in human resources and 3+ years of HR experience preferredSHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR Certifications preferredGeneral knowledge of employment laws and practices in a multi-state environmentProficiency with HRIS systemsExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
