Order of the Holy Sepulchre, Eastern Lieutenancy New York, NY Contract: Full-Time Employee Experience: 2-5 Years Education: Undergraduate Degree Category: Other Base Pay: $50k to $60k Salary General Job Responsibilities Support the life and growth of the lieutenancy by communicating its impact and mission while connecting the 2,300 members and friends with the order, its events and the greater church. Ensure the seamless exchange of information across multiple platforms necessary for members and friends to fully participate in the life of the order and support its mission. Assist the executive director in the general administration of the office. Manage the lieutenancy communication plan on an ongoing basis Draft Letters and other communications Develop materials and maintain brand Edit and proofread reports, letters and articles as needed Gathering and maintaining photo content for materials Manage mass email communications Event updates & invitations Member death notices Fundraising solicitations General membership information Ongoing spiritual formation Manage Social Media platforms Post updates Engage followers Create and sources content Grow following Manage web page Update content Improve usefulness & member interfaces Produce membership newsletter (print and electronic) Source content Create layout Manage articles Engage membership to contribute to content Assist Executive Director in the general administration of the office Provide directions to staff in absence of executive director Serve as point of contact for officers and board in absence of executive director Performance Standards Represents the Lieutenancy in a professional and positive manner Prepares precise, well-written and articulate correspondence Real-time content updating and timely communication of information across all platforms Innovates processes and systems Engages newest communication tools and follows trends Position Requirements Minimum five years serving in communications capacity Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills Some journalism experience Detailed and priority-oriented Strong ability to multi-task Self-motivated team player Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Constant Contact, Wordpress & major social media platforms (ie.
