Receptionist- Part Time

Receptionist The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is searching for a Part-Time Receptionist. This vital position welcomes our guests and helps create incredible first impressions. Availability Necessary: Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday from8 am - 4:00 pm Rotating holiday coverage and flexibility to work week days as needed. Essential Functions: Greet persons entering facility, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations. Telephone conversations, email, writing letters and memos, and face-to-face discussions with individuals and/or team. Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments. Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries. Perform Administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc.; Provide information to resident/families as necessary, or refer to appropriate department or agency. Type and prepare confidential reports/spreadsheets. Qualifications: Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Computer experience required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Physical Demands: Must be able to life, push, pull and move a minimum of 25 pounds. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during working hours. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents, if necessary. Evenings, weekends and holiday rotation is a must; Flexibility during the week for additional hours is a must. Salary $18 an hour The Paramount at Somers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
