Responsibilities Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor. Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted according to corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates. Manages the opening or closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth daily operation. Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issue resolution. Oversees the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring responsibilities are performed effectively and customer service is excellent. Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures to improve performance. Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed properly and updated regularly; ensures execution of the company Inventory Integrity process. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent College experience preferred Minimum 2 years of management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task Creative thinking Ability to maintain composure under pressure Essential Job Functions Frequently operate cash register Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to heights of 5–10 feet Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock stock Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor Frequently communicate with customers face-to-face and by telephone, and exchange information with managers and coworkers Move across the sales floor assisting customers and retrieving stock from the stock room Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and possible overnight shifts and travel as required Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures Remain in a stationary, upright position for extended periods as required Benefits We offer benefits including health coverage, financial and personal wellness programs.
