Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (OTR) - Tankers Arcwood Environmental has more than 50 years of experience in managing the byproducts of progress safely and thoughtfully. Overview Arcwood is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves driving semi‑vans, straight trucks, and vacuum truck equipment to transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials to disposal facilities. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times. Complete assigned routes as designated by transport dispatchers with loaded tankers of customer materials. Prepare for daily trips by inspecting vehicles and equipment, fueling the truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order. Complete manifests, company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed. Maintain logbooks for DOT compliance and state and federal regulations. Drive to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport it to the facility for unloading and disposal. Act as a Company representative, treating every customer with courtesy. Load freight and may climb tankers or pull hoses as needed. Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization. Education High‑school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required). Hazmat endorsement (required).
