Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technicians in Spokane, Washington, are responsible for sterilizing and processing surgical instruments and equipment in a fast-paced acute hospital setting. This role requires candidates to bring their valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license and demonstrate a minimum of two years of related experience. The position involves working evening shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some occasional weekends and holidays. Candidates must also be prepared to float between nearby facilities as needed. Applicants are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Spokane, Washington
• Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays.
• Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State or Compact RN license, valid Allied license if applicable, at least 2 years of experience in sterile processing or related fields, certifications including CBSPD, IAHCSMM, HSPA, or equivalent, and experience with a charting system such as Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in acute hospital environments, trauma centers, or with advanced sterilization equipment and procedures, and prior travel or float experience between facilities.
• Additional Information: Candidates must include the last four digits of SSN and list all requested RTO and scheduling requests during submission. References covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required. Floating between sister facilities may be expected; refusal to float may lead to termination. Vaccination details are not required.
