Role Description The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant is a full-time, on-site role located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This role supports Mortgage Loan Officers by managing loan files, gathering and organizing borrower documentation, and preparing application packages for review. The assistant communicates with borrowers, real estate agents, and internal teams to provide status updates, clarify requirements, and ensure a smooth and timely loan process. Daily responsibilities include data entry into loan origination systems, tracking conditions, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves handling routine customer service inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with follow-up tasks to help Loan Officers grow their pipeline and deliver a high-quality lending experience. Qualifications Knowledge of the mortgage industry and experience supporting Loan Officers in a production or operations environment. Familiarity with underwriting processes, loan documentation requirements, and basic lending guidelines. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, respond promptly to inquiries, and manage borrower expectations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, Loan Officers, real estate partners, and internal teams. High level of organization and attention to detail, with proficiency in data entry and document management. Ability to work on-site in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with common office and mortgage technology tools (e.g., LOS platforms, CRM systems, Microsoft Office or similar). Prior experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or real estate is preferred; high school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
