Personal Banker

Overview Univest Financial Corporation (UVSP) is hiring a Personal Banker to join the Greenspring Valley team. The role involves developing and maintaining a personal portfolio of prospects and customers, delivering exceptional service, profiling customers to determine their needs, cross‑selling appropriate products and services, and servicing customers at the teller line by completing financial transactions per the operational guidelines. Responsibilities Branch Hours (some locations may vary): Monday – Friday: 9 am – 4 pm Position includes: Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately. Adhere to operational and corporate customer service guidelines. Operate technology as required. Supervise teller operations. Handle signing authority responsibilities. Complete the Excel Level 1 course and the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program. Identify customer needs and cross‑sell opportunities to develop new business. Develop working relationships with integrated partners. Proactively initiate sales conversations. Participate in and manage tele‑consulting efforts. Develop knowledge of Univest products and services. Leverage bank promotions. Adhere to the outlined sales flow. Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures. Actively participate in branch activities, development, and training programs. Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels. Comply with laws, regulations, and the Univest Code of Conduct. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalency. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Experience in retail sales or telemarketing with proven sales results. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory ability. Energetic and engaging interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Previous banking experience or completion of ABA Banking Basics. Proficiency in daily operational procedures. Completion of training in SSR Suite. Complete the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program and the “Coaching for Performance Excellence” course. Obtain NMLS registration (if applicable). Neat, professional appearance following established dress guidelines. Wage Range Salary starts at $25.00 per hour.
