Tech Sourcing Recruiter

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tech Sourcer to support talent acquisition for Data Center Engineering and Infrastructure Operations roles across North America (USA). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical landscape for data center, facilities, and critical infrastructure roles, and will excel at identifying and engaging passive talent in the Tech domain. This is a contractual role.

Locations - Bangalore

Shift Timing - 6:00 pm - 3:00 am IST

Key job responsibilities

• Data Center and Infrastructure Hiring:
  • Experience sourcing for data center operations, critical facilities, or Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/IT infrastructure roles/cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Relevant academic backgrounds including degrees or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, HVAC, Electrician trades, Facilities Maintenance, and IT-related fields will be required.
• Boolean and Advanced Search:
  • Ability to create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums, and specialized job boards will be an added advantage.
• Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent:
  • Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing, and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.
  • Ability to articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate.
  • Responsible for building strategies and brainstorming to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders.

A day in the life

• Proven ability and sharp on the feet to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web, and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
• Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.

About the team

The role holder will be a part of the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET, and India, to enable and scale cost-efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non-Tech, and High volume space.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
• Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
• Ability to curate market intel for saturated markets.
• Experience in full-life cycle recruiting.

Requirements

• Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring.
• Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups.
