Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves delivering 24/7 inpatient care for adults requiring continuous cardiac and physiological monitoring.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, myocardial infarction, post-procedure cardiac/vascular conditions, pulmonary disease, and other medical/surgical diagnoses requiring close observation.
• Monitor patients through advanced telemetry systems to assess their condition and respond to changes in patient health status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based practice and optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and care standards while maintaining effective communication with patients and their families.
• Be prepared to float to other areas within the skillset based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii RN License required to apply.
• Two (2) or more years of consecutive full-time staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown required.
• Current AHA BLS/HCP, AHA PALS, AHA ACLS, and AHA or APEX NIHSS certifications are required.
• ASN or BSN degree preferred.
• Specialty certification(s) such as PCCN or RN-BC are highly desired.

Compliance and Additional Information

• All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission and throughout the duration of the contract.
• Requested Time Off (RTO) during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, from Wednesday to Wednesday.
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.
