About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time (48 hours per week available)

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide care for ICU and progressive care patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Deliver competent, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients across a variety of critical care settings
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments, patient populations, and care team workflows
• Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float to and function competently across multiple critical care units
• Navy blue scrubs required per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center environment
• Prior experience floating to a variety of ICU settings
• Familiarity with progressive critical care and step-down patient populations
