Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage patient billing and insurance claims: You will be responsible for handling all aspects of patient billing, including preparing and submitting insurance claims, resolving any billing discrepancies, and communicating with insurance companies as necessary.

3. Assist with financial planning: Use your financial expertise to assist with budgeting and financial planning. This may involve analyzing financial data, forecasting future financial needs, and making recommendations to management.

4. Support medical staff: As a Medical Assistant, you will also provide support to medical staff as needed. This could involve tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, or even assisting with medical procedures.

5. Compliance with healthcare laws and regulations: Ensure that all financial activities comply with healthcare laws and regulations. This may involve staying up-to-date with the latest changes in healthcare legislation and implementing necessary changes to our financial practices.

Qualifications:

1. Medical Assistant certification: You must be a certified Medical Assistant. This certification demonstrates that you have the necessary medical knowledge and skills to perform this role effectively.

2. Experience in accounting and finance: You must have at least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role. This experience should have given you a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
