Field Superintendent - Industrial Construction

Location: Amarillo, TX

Schedule: Full-Time | 50 Hours Per Week

Pay: $42.50 - $78 per hour

We are hiring an experienced Temporary Field Superintendent to support large-scale industrial and high-tech construction projects near Amarillo, TX. This role is ideal for construction professionals with experience managing subcontractors, fast-track schedules, safety compliance, and complex industrial job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate daily construction activities
• Manage project schedules, field operations, and site safety compliance
• Resolve field construction, design, and constructability issues
• Review blueprints, specifications, and technical construction documents
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients
• Monitor quality control, productivity, and contractor performance
• Support cost estimating, staffing, and project reporting activities
• Ensure work complies with OSHA standards, local codes, and project specifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial or commercial construction experience
• Experience with high-tech, manufacturing, or large industrial projects preferred
• OSHA 30 Certification required
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and field coordination
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
