Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Services Location: Maria Parham Franklin – Louisburg, NC Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts, full‑time night (7:00pm – 7:00am) Commitment Bonus: $20,000 over 2 years Summary Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Emergency Department. Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high‑quality care across a variety of patient needs Utilize clinical expertise to guide and implement individualized plans of care Serve as a patient‑care innovator, using the latest technology and best practices Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care activities Document patient care provided Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals and psychosocial/spiritual support needs Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition and circumstances Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient Participate in performance improvement and continuing education Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed Maintain regular and reliable attendance Perform other duties as assigned Populations Served Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications and latex. Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
