Quick Facts Location: Minneapolis, MN Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date: 12/14/2026 Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday – Friday) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Temporary with possibility to extend License/Certs: MN license required; BLS and ACLS certifications needed Experience: Hematology experience, benign/malignant hematology focus required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $105.02 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Manage inpatient hematology and oncology cases, including benign and malignant conditions Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care Support hematology patients, including those undergoing complex treatments Document patient interactions efficiently using EPIC EMR Assist with coordinate care for hematology/oncology inpatients Ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols What You Need State of Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hematology experience with benign and malignant cases required BLS and ACLS certifications Prior inpatient hematology/oncology experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment is with a prominent hospital in Minneapolis, MN, supporting inpatient hematology and oncology services. The facility is a 686-bed hospital committed to excellent patient outcomes, with a focus on hematology/oncology care. The hematology APP will work supported by a dedicated team, providing essential inpatient services to a diverse patient population. The hospital is currently building its bone marrow transplant program, with foundational knowledge welcomed but not required.
